It is a better camera functionally and feels really good. In every other area I'd give the G11 the edge...especially in the sensor and LCD.

This camera has all the features of a DSLR with the portability of a point and shoot. Many of the controls are readily available on top of the camera, so you don't have to search through crazy menus to find them. The image quality is wonderful. Overall the G-11 is simply an amazing, must buy, camera.
