This camera is FANTASTIC if you are getting it for yourself or someone who is interested in digital photography but isn t ready to leap into getting a DSLR camera. It shoots fantastic photos every single color is picked up and looks great when you view them on your computer screen and go to print them. I defiantly recommend this camera and getting a 4gb memory card. You ll love taking photos with this camera a 1 GB or 2 GB memory card wont work unless you want to keep buying them that is. Over all great cameras make sure you have it on steady mode in case you tend to shake a bit while taking photos. It also takes great photos if you are inside a moving car and want to snap a photo of something. The smile detection and face detection are awesome and so is the macro setting. Its a bit annoying when your close to something and have to wait for the camera to recognize it if you have it on auto-mode other than that go buy it and have fun shooting pictures :).
